  1. What are the rates for Prepaid $50 Monthly Talk, Text & Web?

    Below is the information for the Prepaid Monthly Plan:

    The $50 Unlimited Talk, Text and Web plan includes:

    • Unlimited Talk 
    • Unlimited Text to the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico

    • Nationwide Coverage

  2. How does the $50 Unlimited Talk, Text and Web Plan work?

    Customers on the $50 Monthly Unlimited Plan need to make a payment for their full Monthly Access to ensure the account has a sufficient balance on the due date to receive the full benefits of the plan. Once granted, your plan is valid until the plan expiration date. Monthly Access will be debited from your account on the same day every month.

    If you do not have a sufficient balance for your monthly access, pay $0.25 per minute, $0.20 per text, $0.25 per multimedia message and $0.99 per day for Mobile Web. You can also make partial/multiple payments any time and use it for additional services.

    On your payment date, if a payment is made and your account balance is greater than or equal to your Monthly Access, the amount of your Monthly Access will be debited from your account and your monthly minutes will be granted.

  3. What happens if I don’t have a sufficient balance for the Monthly Access of my $50 Unlimited Monthly Plan on my due date?

    If you have an account balance, but your account balance isn’t greater than or equal to the Monthly Access when Verizon Wireless attempts to debit your account for the Monthly Access, you will still be able to use your service but will pay $0.25 per minute, $0.20 per text, $0.25 per multimedia message and $0.99 per day for Mobile Web.

  4. How do I know if the $50 Unlimited Monthly Plan is the right plan for me?

    The Prepaid $50 Unlimited Monthly Plan is for customers who want unlimited talk, text & web per month without a long-term contract, or current prepaid customers who use a lot of voice minutes, text and web messages.

  5. How do I purchase Prepaid Monthly Plans?

    You can purchase new service on the $50 Unlimited Talk, Text & Web Plan online by visiting the Prepaid Plans page, at a Verizon Wireless Retail Store, participating agent locations or retailer.

  6. Can I change my current prepaid plan to the $50 Unlimited Prepaid Monthly Plan?

    Verizon Wireless compatible prepaid basic phones are eligible for the $50 Unlimited plan. Current customers with eligible phones can change their current prepaid plans to the $50 Unlimited Prepaid Monthly Plan through My Verizon online. Customers can also change their plans at a Verizon Wireless Retail Store or participating agent location, or by calling Prepaid Customer Care at (888) 294-6804.

  7. What is Mobile to Mobile Calling?

    Mobile to Mobile Calling is calling with any of our more than 80 million Verizon Wireless customers anytime and anywhere from within the Prepaid Rate and Coverage Area. Mobile to Mobile Calling is unlimited on the $50 Unlimited Talk, Text and Web plan.

  8. When are Night & Weekend Minutes?

    Night Minutes are from 9:01 p.m. - 5:59 a.m. every day of the week. Weekend Minutes are from 12:00 a.m. Saturday to 11:59 p.m. Sunday. Calls made or received from within the Prepaid Rate and Coverage Area during these times are unlimited on the $50 Unlimited Talk, Text and Web plan.

  9. Where can I use my service with the $50 Unlimited Plan?

    You can use your service in the Verizon Wireless Prepaid Rate and Coverage Area. Domestic calls made or received outside of the Verizon Wireless Prepaid Rate and Coverage Area will be charged at a roaming rate of 20¢ per minute.

  10. Will I be charged different roaming rates if calling internationally?

    You can use your service in the Verizon Wireless Prepaid Rate and Coverage Area. For additional international rates, go to Prepaid International Roaming Rates.

Services & Features

  1. What features and services are available with the $50 Unlimited Plan?

    Domestic Roaming, Caller ID, Call ID Blocking, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, 3-Way Calling, International Services, No Answer or Busy Transfer, 411 Search and Account Alerts and Voice Mail. Additional charges apply for 411 Search, Backup Assistant, Domestic Roaming and International Services.

    Optional services include Media Center, Games, Ringtones, Ringback Tones, VZ Navigator and Mobile Email. Additional charges apply for these services all require compatible wireless devices with Verizon Wireless specific software.

    Voice mail may not be available in some areas. Voice mailboxes not set up within 60 days will be cancelled. Airtime and other charges are incurred when using voice mail from your wireless phone. Mobile to Mobile Calling minutes do not apply to voice mail retrievals; you will be charged to maintain your connection to voicemail. Verizon Wireless is not responsible for missed messages or deletions of messages from your voice mailbox, even if you have saved them.

    While Roaming internationally, you may be promoted to dial the phone number you are calling twice. Unlimited Calling, Text Bundles, Unlimited Night, Weekend, Mobile to Mobile and Anytime Minutes do not apply to International Services. International Roaming Coverage only available on participating networks and is not guaranteed. Data services and features not available when roaming.

    3 – Way Calling, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting and No Answer or Busy Transfer – Airtime charges apply to all simultaneous calls and to forwarded transferred calls even if you send the call to wireline and telephones.

  2. What is Text Messaging and how do I use it? What are the rates for Text Messaging?

    Text Messaging is the ability to send and receive messages using letters, numbers and symbols to other wireless users and email addresses from your wireless phone. You can send a Text Message to a 10-digit wireless number in the United States and/or Canada, or to any email address in the world.

    Unlimited Text includes unlimited domestic text, multimedia messaging, including messages to participating networks in Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

  3. What is Multimedia Messaging and how do I use it? What are the rates for Multimedia Messaging?

    Multimedia Messaging lets you send and receive pictures and videos with your compatible Verizon Wireless Prepaid camera/video messaging phone.

    Multimedia Messages are Unlimited per message sent and received, including messages to and from participating carriers in Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico for compatible basic phones. Multimedia messages sent to and received from participating carriers in other international locations are charged at 25¢ per message sent and 25¢ per message received.

  4. What is Mobile Web and how does it work? What are the charges for using Mobile Web?

    Mobile Web allows you to browse the Internet and view the latest web content such as news, weather, sports and more. You can also read and send email and Instant Message using Yahoo!®, AOL® and MSN®.

    Mobile Web usage is unlimited with sufficient monthly balance. A Media Center/Get It Now®-capable device with Mobile Web is required. Not all content providers are available on all wireless devices.

  1. How do I make payments to my $50 Unlimited Plan account?

    There are many options for making payments to your Verizon Wireless Prepaid service. Here's how:

    • My Verizon online - Go to verizonwireless.com/myverizon to register and login to make a payment with a major credit or debit card (Visa®, Discover®, American Express® or MasterCard® only) or a pre-purchased Refill Card.
    • Sign up for Auto Pay and make automatic monthly payments from your major credit or debit card.
    • Call *611 from your wireless phone or (888) 294-6804 to make a payment with a major credit or debit card (Visa, Discover, American Express or MasterCard only) or a pre-purchased Refill Card.
    • Visit a Verizon Wireless Communications Store, or any of our participating agents or retailers, to make a payment.
    • Send a Text Message with your Refill PIN number to “VZPAY” (89729) and it will be added to your account.  
    • Purchase a Verizon Wireless Refill Card

  2. When do payments made to my $50 Unlimited Plan account expire?

    Once applied to your account, payments expire as follows:

    • $15 – $29.99 payments expire in 30 days
    • $30 – $74.99 payments expire in 90 days
    • $75 – $99.99 payments expire in 180 days
    • $100 or more payments expire in 365 days

  3. How can I view detailed account information for my $50 Unlimited Plan?

    You can view your account information by registering and logging into My Verizon online, or with a Mobile Web capable device, through My Verizon on your handset.

  4. How can I get my account balance and expiration date for my $50 Unlimited Plan?

    You can get your account balance and expiration date by logging in to My Verizon or by pressing *611 from your wireless phone, or (888) 294-6804 from any phone, and following the prompts. Customers can also dial #MIN (#646) or #BAL (#225) airtime free to get account information. To make a payment customers can dial #PMT (#768) airtime free.
